I like having things in boxes and jars. Things are nicer when stored in boxes, rather than in the plastic/card/disposable packaging things normally come in these days. Making a cup of tea is suddenly a little bit nicer when you take out your pretty little box with tea bags. Or having a biscuit out of the flowery biscuit tin. I store my sewing things in tins, all my little laces and silk ribbons in boxes, all my cards and cut- outs in boxes covered in polka-dotted paper, my earrings in a pretty little flower fairy tin on my dressing table, I even have a box for safety pins. My fiancee thinks I am obsessed with tins and boxes. But don't you agree that things are nicer when taken out of their little boxes or tins?
